⁹ Then King Belshazzar was greatly ^(A)alarmed, and his ^(B)colour changed, and his ^(C)lords were perplexed.

¹⁰ The queen,^[a] because of the words of the king and his lords, came into the banqueting hall, and the queen declared, ^(D)“O king, live for ever! Let not your thoughts alarm you ^(E)or your colour change. ¹¹ There is a man in your kingdom ^(F)in whom is the spirit of the holy gods.^[b] In the days of your father, ^(G)light and understanding and wisdom like the wisdom of the gods were found in him, and King Nebuchadnezzar, your father—your father the king—^(H)made him chief of the magicians, ^(I)enchanters, Chaldeans, and astrologers,
